Our mission to work with great thinkers who have the potential to change the world. For over 25 years, we have coached leaders in bioscience, technology and other highly specialized fields on finding their unique communication style, mastering proven techniques and creating strategic messages to share their brilliant ideas with the people who can take them one step further.

About Jane

Jane is the Founder and President of Well Said Consulting. She brings over 25 years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies, and in addition to facilitating leadership communication workshops, she is an executive speaker coach for a global leader in presentation training and speaker coaching.

Jane instructs STEM thought leaders and their teams on the intangible art of effective communication, capitalizing on interpersonal verbal and nonverbal communication. Growing up as the middle child between two brothers, she had to learn how to “be heard.” This prompted the study of organizational communication and the constant curiosity of what makes a great speaker. Jane is a firm believer that when people are mindful of how they say what they say, they become more efficient, effective and engaging communicators!

Her Bachelor of Science in Rhetoric and Communication is from the University of Oregon. Her husband Burr is a graduate from Oregon State University CEM, but they’ve found a way to make it work despite being rivals! Her kids go to school in Montana and Texas. Because she comes from generations of military service and the armed forces have been an inspiring presence in her life, Jane loves to support and work with veterans whenever she can. Her dad was in the Navy, and her grandfather and uncles were in the armed forces as well.

Jane’s specialty is helping you break through your barriers to connect with others, developing the skills to bring your message home in any situation. It all begins with presence and leveraging the skills, talents and personality you already have. After some awareness exercises and communication strategy, you’ll walk into your next meeting or presentation feeling prepared and confident.
